Handbook of
The FolK Union

NOTES ON AN EMERGING FOLK SCENE

RISO-PRINTED BOOK

The Folk Union Handbook is a 50-page, long-form essay which examines each of The Folk Union Values in detail. It’s both a handbook to the project but also an in depth reflection on the emerging folk scene.

There’s a lot in here about participation, about the difference between taking part and looking on, about what happens when traditions become images or aesthetics. It also tries to hold onto what’s really good and exciting about the scene at the moment.

The internal pages are printed on a different stock to that which is shown in the image.
We aim to ship on Mondays but, as it’s a solo endeavour, please forgive any delays.
