This is a twenty-page illustrated PDF pamphlet about the folk scene today.
It looks at how folk is selected, framed, and circulated today, particularly online. The writing comes from inside the current revival and is the first edition of The Folk Union Pamphlet.
Alongside older rites and customs, the writing pays attention to everyday, working, and local forms of culture that rarely get framed as folk but are often the most vulnerable to loss. It questions whether all traditions need to be visible, and whether revival always helps.
The PDF includes original illustrations and is designed to be read as a pamphlet. It is not a zine. It’s intended to be direct, reflective, and accessible, rather than academic.
